The manufacturer of this line of attractive and economical seasonal sunrooms has been in the sunroom business since 1992. The company is located in a 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Ajax, Ontario. These sunrooms are manufactured in Canada and are engineered for the Canadian climate.
“Craft-Bilt” is proud to be one of the founding members of the Canadian Sunroom Manufacturers Association.

Two roof styles to choose from. The most popular is the “lean-to” style (as seen above). This roof slopes from back to front and needs very little back wall height and slope to be able to be installed (as low as a 1/12 roof pitch). If you have enough back wall height, or you are having the sunroom installed on the gable end of the house, the Cathedral sunroom is a very attractive style (as shown in the picture on the left).
There is three roof systems to choose from. The “PanelCraft” roof has insulated panels which are composed a of seven-ply sandwich. The adhesive and laminating process is state-of-the-art providing for superior snow load capability. The roof comes in three colours to match your sunroom and has a gutter. Skylights are also an option for this roof.
The “Northlander Skyview” roof is a translucent, polycarbonate roof system. “Northlander Skyview” is designed to battle the elements. It is manufactured from maintenance-free aluminum channels and polycarbonate glazing. The Silhouette Pearl glazing features outstanding reflective qualities and is 1 1/4″ thick! Clear, bronze and opal ice glazing panels offer design flexibility for your sunroom. Choose the panel with light transmission properties that best serves your project.
The single tempered glass roof system manufactured by “Solarium Optimum” offers plenty of natural light and blends perfectly with the “Craft-Bilt” aluminum frame walls. The glass has a slight grey tint, but is so clear you can sit in your sunroom and see the stars at night. There are also optional ceiling blinds if you are in a sunny location and want to keep your sunroom cool and shady on the warm summer days.
“Craft-Bilt” “Grand Vista” rooms feature an exclusive wall design that is optimized for appearance. If you look closely, there are no window frames cluttering the look of your new sunroom, they are built right into the wall!
“Grand Vista” windows are the side-sliding style to provide a smooth opening & closing operation. “Grand Vista” sunrooms are comprised of custom made wall sections typically not exceeding five feet in width.
Options include: storm or patio doors, three standard sunroom colours (white, earthstone or desert sand), tempered glass kneewall, fixed glass wall sections and fixed glass transoms above the windows. Your “Grand Vista” sunroom comes standard with operating side-sliding windows, including screens (no filler panels, unless you want them). So on those warm sunny days, you can open each of them to enjoy the warm breeze and smell the flowers.
As you can see in the “slide show” just above on the left, you can also use the “Craft-Bilt” Wall System to enclose existing porches and front entrances and turn then into weather-tight living spaces.
